I'll try bending it when I get a chance, right now its sitting in my garage burried.

But yes, the signals are coming off of the gromit? where they are mounted on the bike. I can order another set, but don't remember how much it costs.

Thanks for the ideas, I might check again locally to see if there are any other nearby shops, this one might just want my money.
